2013 Big Sable Bus Days
Bus Days to Big Sable Point Lighthouse - Meet at the Amphitheater, located ahead of the entrance to Ludington State Park on M116 in Ludington, MI.
Buses run approximately every half hour throughout the event.
Bus Days are SPLKA's way of making the breathtaking Big Sable Point Lighthouse more accessible for all visitors. The traditional 2 mile walk out to and back from the light can be offset by riding an LMTA, handicap accessible van through the sands to the parking lot in front of the Lighthouse. Transport will cost visitors $2 each way (or $1 each way for children) and helps to offset the costs of SPLKA's rental of the buses. The lighthouse, gift shop and tower are all open on those days and evenings for your viewing, climbing and shopping experience!
